I am simply happy to see something I haven't since OFP, the Marder. Too often are the infamous tanks produced for games, about time we see armor like this.

Simply stunning work with Maxim and loving Marder III (special one to me, since worked on one back in OFP times). Makes me dream that I would be that good, can't wait to see this released :icon14:

Looking good, but since this is about the Russian army made by a Russian mod team, i have to ask; will a level of objectivity be maintained in, for example, the level of balancing between a tank such as the Tiger and the ubiquitous T34?

As good as the T34 was, the exchange rate for a Tiger (how many it took to kill one) stood at something like 9 - almost double the Sherman's 5, despite the T34 being a far better tank (likely poorly trained crews).

It would not be doing service to history to have T34's steamrolling everything, something i hope the mod team is aware of

@irR4tiOn4L

The our own damage system will be like in real life, in real war was own balance, we are don't inventing a own one.

How likely is it that the IS-3 is realized in the game? I know he did against the germans no longer used. But as a serious opponent for the german kingtiger he would be perfect!

JS-3 is not suitable for the time of war which we are making.

Very nice , waiting for this. Gonna thinking how tank battles would look like, since as I know T-34 cant do anything to Tiger's front armor

T-34-76 - yes, had too weak gun for Tiger

But T-34-85 had more powerfull gun. Ofcouse, Tiger was very dangerous opponent.

In Staszow fight T-34-85 was in ambush and fired to Koenigtigers from medium distance when they come from the top if the hill.

All the T-34 really needs to do is run away and wait for the Tiger's drivetrain to shit itself.

Something like this was. They returned from Oglendow to Staszow suburbs and seat in ambush. The terrain was sandy :) And Koenigtigers lost maneuvre.
