As requested by many, a seperate M14/M21 Release outside 6thSenseMod, including 2 bonus Weapons:

M32 Grenade Launcher and M1911 Wilson Combat. More to come, probably ;-) (Bonus weapons will soon feature in 6thSenseMod also)

[*] Scoped rifles have extra modes for CQB sight, so you can watch over the scope instead of through smile_o.gif

[*] M32 has multiple distance sight settings, atm there are some workarounds in place for problems on some videocards etc. If you dont AIM (press v), the sight might look a bit weird

[*] Animations for many things (M32 Reload, Animated Barrel, M14/M21 chamber, 1911 Loader etc. etc.)

[*] Supressed Rifles have 2 Supressed modes: SubSonic and SuperSonic

[*] Simple Demo Mission & Crates Included

[*] Classes list included

[*] Played Best with 6thSense.eu "Pack1" (Misc, Tracers, Blood, CRDS)

did an quick test so far why didn't you say its an RC? wink_o.gif

- the weapon-skin need some more tuning

- muzzle effects are bit too big and white

- high flyin bullet casing

+ nice choice with optics!

+ NoTracer Magazine

+ Animations

random jamming would be nice too but only with *gddam *sht voices biggrin_o.gif

Great work. There's a lot of good stuff in here. A great release. The only thing I would suggest is a bit more detail in the textures.

I couldn't see the m21s in the weapon box. Am I just not looking right? huh.gif

Thanks for all the reports. Repacked the v0.1 Release (old download link) to add the M21's (Who said Holidays were Resting for ppl biggrin_o.gif)

It is uncertain if and which kinds of improvements are coming.

I didn't release it as RC as the conditions from our side for v0.1 got met smile_o.gif

Fantastic work, Sickboy!

The extra pair of sights is really a great idea. One small suggestions, though. I think the view is too zoomed in. Is it possible to zoom it out a bit, and make it toggleable? Meaning I can doubletap Numpad minus and stay zoomed out more?

How can I get a rifleman to "spawn" with the M14 instead of the M4 for example? (In the editor)

@LoFFeN type this into your soldiers Init-Field:

removeallweapons this; this addmagazine "SIX_20Rnd_762x51_M14"; this addmagazine "SIX_20Rnd_762x51_M14"; this addweapon "SIX_M14"

that gives your soldier the m14 and two magazines. for weaponnames for the other guns and other magazinetypes have a look at the readme.

@CRIONYK type "F" (or what key switches the Firemodes for you) several times it will switch from semi to auto to semi CQB and auto CQB, then when in a CQB mode hit the Ironsights key

Cycle through the types of sights/firing modes by pressing "f." At least thats what it is on the default key layout.

First off, I'd like to thank you for another excellent addon.

The new M-32 MGL is a HUGE plus to an already fantastic pack.

There are some points though, that I'd like to address:

1. The reason the M203 UGL was developed, was to provide the grenadier with a better weapon to defend himself in close combat. He could simply switch to defense by going to the attached rifle, instead of having to rely on some frags, and a handgun.

Now it seems thirty years since the adoption of the M203, we've come full circle- the grenadier has much more firepower at his disposal with the M-32 MGL, but is back to a sidearm for self defense. Somehow, I doubt the Marine grenadiers are going be satisfied with a measly 15rnd. M9, instead of the M4.

So, I'm wondering if this weapon could be carried as a secondary, in addition to the M4? ( and maybe a handgun for SPECOPS units. ) If weight was that much of a factor, perhaps the MP5 could be carried as a primary. ( But, considering the MP5 is being phased out of service, and is not much lighter than an M4, it's probably more realistic to carry the M4. )

2. The AI doesn't seem to like using the MGL.

3. The tracer isn't very realistic, the M433 doesn't have a tracer. I understand the purpose of the tracer in this addon, it really helps to aim the weapon at long range. So, could the tracer be greatly reduced? Right now, the grenade looks like an out-bound comet with a long red tail.

4. The velocity seemed a little low in comparison to real life M433 grenades.

5. The grenades explode on impact even at point-blank range. IRL, the M433 arms at about 30m down range.

Hi, i like the shape of the M14's and M14's SOPMOD too (even when

i hate the shape of this ones) but i think that i the textures could

be improved, in the M14's... the upside of the handguard, could be

brown, and the wood stock texture could be better made too, like

wasted by the time and a bit beaten up; the XM32 that i've seen

in use, were black or coyote tan. The M14 sounds and the M1911

sounds are too low and decafeinated, and the M1911 looks too plain,

looks more like a plastic airsoft gun than a metalic gun; and that,

talking about a M1911... is for me a crime, but's not my addon so

is ok. the ACOG cross i think that needs a bit more of work, like

the Elcan C79A2 cross; i think that i could improve some of the

textures of the M14's/M14 SOPMOD, so if i can open the .pbo's

and steal something from there... i gonna do it and post here

the resoults for if they serve for this weapons pack, you know...

camo versions, wasted weapons and the common bullshit that

i could do with a stolen addon. Let's C ya

Wow sickboy, another mod!

The only issues I have right now is with the M32.

1. Hand clips thru the chambers (I guess this is a engine limitation)

2. The explosions are really small (Size of vulcan round explosion)

3. sights dont work properly.

Awsome mod, the only thing i see a problem, or hear rather, with is the sounds, the seen a little off, maybe a little quiet too.

Anyways I love it beyond any other weapon in ArmA now!

as the matter of fact the guy carrying M-32 MGL are still issused with M4s and such, its only that they are now carrying 2 guns at the same time instead of 1

by the way how did you work out not having to use 2 magazines for the 2 sights? or are you? sorry i cant download this any time soon so i dont know how did you work it out  smile_o.gif
