Red Square Monkey 0 Posted February 18, 2007 Parvus, wich setting do you use ingame regarding brightness and gamma? What kind of touch did you usually make to the shots in photoshop? StryDa 0 Posted February 18, 2007 or Duplicate the picture layer add a blur (Gaussian is best) then set layer to pin light ( or overlay, hard light, soft light. depedning on what looks and feels best). Will brighten the picture and bring strength to the edges.
SHWiiNG 0 Posted February 18, 2007 Looking at all these pics makes me say wow, but what kind of FPS so you people get? i mean heres my system. AMD Athlon 3700+ 2.4ghz *Overclocked using AMD software* 256mb X800GTo *Overclocked* 2Gb DDR2 RAM 80Gb HD and i need these settings to get good reliable FPS. 800 X 600 Res Everything on high apart from Terrain (Normal), Anti-Aliasing (OFF), Anisotrophic (Low) Shadow Detail (Medium) Damn a brand new system i thought was top of the range, but obviously not good enough for ARMA
Average Joe 0 Posted February 18, 2007 The Gcard memory lets it down SHWiiNG, 256mb is kinda stretching it.
SHWiiNG 0 Posted February 18, 2007 Hmmph.. im annoyed now, hence the GFX card is a very expensive component. but thanks for the Heads up.

Infam0us 10 Posted February 19, 2007 This has no doubt been asked many times, but is there a way of disabling the HUD in game and then turning it back on again, like with DXDLL in OFP? Or do you have to use that Camera.Sqs script? If its the latter can someone quickly explain to me how it works, thanks

Try putting the resoloution up to 1024x768, to me this dramatically improves the look of the game. I then have everythings else except shadows and textures on low. Shadows and textures for me are on normal. I think changing the resouloution has a massive impact on the overall look of the game. Below 1024x768 everyhting becomes jagged.
