2ndLt. A. Perez 10 Posted July 10, 2017 The 1st Battalion, 5th Marines is now recruiting for members! We are a new and small realism unit that just recently started. If you would like to apply head on over to our forums! The 1st Battalion, 5th Marines is a unit that is mostly comprised of people from the United States and Canada, however we do have people from other countries around the world. Our unit operates on Eastern Standard Time (EST). Although this is the timezone that we operate in most of the time we will not refuse people solely due to location. We pride ourselves in being able to be mature, patient and have a great understanding of teamwork while on the field. These are traits that everyone that is part of our unit must have. Now that our unit has been officially made public everyone will have to go through the entire training process. All recruits must go through two days of training and once they make it through said process they will be promoted to the rank of Private. HAVE YOU GOT WHAT IT TAKES? The 1st Battalion, 5th Marines requires you to be mature, patient and, have a great amount of teamwork. If there are any faults in any of these traits they will be addressed immediately. Again once you first join our unit you will be made a recruit. All recruits must go through two days of training and once they make it through said process they will be promoted to the rank of Private.
