Terrain Grid problems

Recommended Posts

The slashes are because the terrain is flat

Center you set in config.cpp

centerPosition[] = {20480,20480,500};

I did what you said and nothing seemed to change. The grid is still misaligned and are you saying if the terrain is flat there will always be those slashes?

try changing your class Grid, think it's the Y offset you change

My airport is covered in slashes, that's how it shows its flat

Alright I'll leave that for now. But what about the flat terrain slashes? There has to be a work around. Virtual Reality is flat and doesn't have them.

Could be related to not having a satellite image for the map.

I tried what you suggested and it didn't seem to change anything.

What you've been told is correct, the slash lines are because the terrain is flat in that area.

As Auss said, use Buldozer to raise/lower or if you have a large area then run the perlin noise plugin from TerrainProcessor over it, nothing too extreme, just enough to have a few ups and downs or even L3DT.
