Smoke grenades and not exploded GL grenades produce shake when they disappear. Same goes for all throwables such as chemlights etc.

I think I have a problem with the recoil. At first everything works fine, but some time into the mission every time I fire my rifle the game hangs for a split second. I need to do some more testing though, but recoil seems the most likely source of the problem as it does act every time I fire the gun.

EDIT: Yeah, it seems it was the Recoil. I installed only explosion shake and twitch and didnt have any problems when firing the gun later in missions.

I think that "twitching" should be noticeable only in first several seconds of shooting. Because at this point you are not ready for contact but then you concentrate on shooting and don't experience any twitching.

Something like that:

1. First several shots - twitching;

2. Then you not experience any twitching in *** seconds or till you lower your weapon.

Thanks for the update.

I appreciate your mods as they enhance the immersion without significantly influencing the rest of the game, i.e. highly-compatible.

Incidentally, with all the recent changes to the engine (1.54), are your other mods impacted?

The new "force" feature is quite fantastic.

 

A little tip for other potential users.......in your video options make sure you have your Radial Blur and Rotational Blur set to default settings (100), otherwise you don't get the full benefit of the new "force" feature.

I had mine both set to zero which only gives the darkening around screen edge.

Great little addition, I now realized I always missed this effect, thanks!

 

And a bugreport: if you selectPlayer into another unit (well, I play SP only) the force feature only works for original player unit, and not for any selected ones.
