Great work! Finally the HUDs are visable without moving the head directly in front of the display and your look even better.

One suggestion:

can you use the "O" to indicate where the heli is flying

with "O" I mean this symbol in the middle:

-O-

|

calculate where the heli will be in ~100 m and place there a 3d marker with the "O" as texture

if this would be possible it would be awesome!!!

Your mean the total velocity vector? It's already there, but it still needs a few changes

I want something like "Mando Missiles" with those kinds of features ,and a noce zoom level to go with it....Not unlike what you got there.Kepp it up! I think that you can can add lots of stuff we miss...maybe the ability to target a new target by simply look at it instead of the previous one....Armscore planning to introduse the Owl Helmet system ! Lots of things to improve on ,if one`s not entierly happy aboput it.We`ll have to see....What about slave a Search Light to the helmet? Or a gunsight ? Or a quick way to lock-on fast jets with HMS or be able to strike a target of to the side? Rear fierering missiles?

Some way to get to the guns if Gunner is not present?

Could this be connected to a Auto-Pilot and check the ground inside of the sight to detect things to avoid in the flight path and point them out to the pilot? Or show hidden enemies that shoot at you?

Maybe add a Laser and connect it to everybody in the group? To see what everyone else is targetting?

Why keep the magic radar? Limit the range at least.

Would be usefull ingame.

Range to target included in HUD?

Looks good and works good, but it throws the same eventhandler.scope error that 87th Neptune noticed in the HAFM US Helis thread. I would also leave the upper left status hud so that we know whats going on with the condition of the aircraft

Thanks for the feedback, I think I got rid of the error. Gonna implement it on next version.

Additional stuff for the next update will be:

* 3-digit Heading number on top

* Fixed Scales on altitude and VVI tapes

* Fixed Total Velocity Vector.

If I get 50 "YES" votes on the Poll, I'll make the NATO and Greenfor HMDs with Nautical Units

Fantastic work my boy!!!!!! Bohemia could sure use you on their development squad. Fixing things that make a TRUE difference. Now THAT'S what i'm talkin about!!!

---------- Post added at 06:44 ---------- Previous post was at 06:39 ----------

Do you think there is anything a little more 'fancy' you could do with the gunner LOS indicator on the HUD? You know,,, the little box at the bottom of the IHADDS with the ball in it that shows where the gunner's interests are? and if you have any ideas about possibly adding some audible warnings to vanilla and/or the A2 ported helis Iwould love to contribute.

added an idea & suggestion

Fantastic work!

As someone who isn't overly familiar with military HUDs, at least not foreign ones (some aren't at all), is there a possibility to add a manual or just point out what some indicators mean.

Some are self-explanatory like speed or altitude but some aren't, the box on the Comanche that seems to follow the turret but goes the opposite direction for example.

Nice job!

I meant to ask, is there a guide you followed to get the HUDs to work?

I've been looking around for a guide about it, even opened a ticket on the feed tracker (http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=19778) with not much luck.

Well, what i did was mostly Trial and error, but here's a reference page:

What other elements could be put onto the HUD? I'm thinking something like TPW_HUD. I must admit I like to fly with tactical glasses on, so that I have his HUD, and it really opens up the world of opportunity (or should I say opportunities :) )

Finally took some time to check this out, and while I fly the Ghost Hawk VFR mostly, I do have to say that its actually quite nice. My only recommendation however is to make the velocity vector maybe 50 to 75% smaller, as it's kinda big. I know we can go with things such as "right up in the face" etc. but it's a bit big.
