Hello

This is [PAC-8BZ] Marcin. We created new group on Steam named "Arma 3 PVP Community".

This group is something like bulletin board for Players which like to play typical PvP Sector Control missions like Advance & Secure, Attack & Defend, Search & Destroy etc. For now basically we are focused on playing two projects:

- Tactical Battlefield http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?163550-Tactical-Battlefield-A-PvP-Gameplay-Modification

The group is opened for new/old other projects/ideas.

- Fusion Wars (not sure how to name it) http://www.fusion-squad.eu/

Why we created this group? One group means one calendar with all organized play and everyone will get announcement. Example 1: You started your PC joined your 5 friends on team speak, you don't want play next very common mission like for example Warfare, Wasteland etc. What to do now? You just need to check calendar what happening on PVP servers - what events or organized play started or will start today or next days.

Example 2: You are playing Star Wars and at 20:30 you will see message at 21:00 some clan will start plying TacBF on concrete server. You don't need to look for servers you can play other till something cool will happened in Arma 3.

How it works? Everyone who like projects like this should join. Every officer or moderator can create some advertisement/announcement, Every officer can promote to moderator. For bigger communities clans I will make an officer who will decide who in his community will be moderator. If needed I will promote to moderator leader of some organized group. If we want to make it work properly we should announce every organized play we made.

This group is not for

- Advertisement for common missions like: Warfare, King of Hill, Wasteland because all the time there are full servers of this kind of good common missions.

- Announcement like this one "we are 6 and wanna join some epic battle" There is a calender and you can see where you can join.

You right. I forgot about old good Valhalla. I played it for hundreads hours in Arma 2 and less hours in Arma 3. I remember that there are some very good players. I added link you posted.

Since Wednesday I couldn't join or see any servers on the server list. Normally I can, but nomatter how many times I refresh it wouldn't show any servers.

Try checking your filters and try switching between Steam server browser and Gamespy server browser (Button in the top right in the server browser).

Nice initiative Marcin. It's a real shame so many people are playing against AI, when having real players as opponents is really just unmatched.

Is this still active? Are there any players in the group actually interested in PvP?

I am looking for where we can get more players into our DTAS games, so far it's just been word of mouth to get people in, so most players are from the Israeli community with only occasionally people joining either randomly or through someone they know in the community. We'd like to have a lot more players join in, so we can get large DTAS games like in the days when ArmA3.RU was playing it with a full 60 player server.

The boxes tick when you find a right group or a server. If you watch server browser and jump in in a random server you'll likely be disappointed because 90% of the populated servers are RPG and Sandbox (Life and Wasteland).

Search the server browser for the Arma-IL IDF PvP server (you can just write "IDF" in the filter).

To keep track of when events are taking place (as the server is rather empty otherwise), join the Steam group and look under the "events" tab.

Next Saturday 14 December at 18:00 GMT we will have a DTAS event using the RHS mod on the Arma-IL IDF PvP Server. If you are looking for a chance to play PvP with the mod, make sure you have it installed and join in!

Hey guys I hope that PAC signs up at ArmA Wargmaes for the upcoming campaign using TacBF. Its a TvT persistent Campaign that lasts 8 weeks. You choose your side and you remain on that team for the entire campaign building tactics and relationships! At the end of the 8 weeks a campaign winner is announced and then a few weeks later we do it all again! Clans and communities are welcome, and will be placed on the same team (unless some crazy imbalance issues exist). Check out http://forum.arma-wargames.com/index.php
