Drifter 167 Posted March 10, 2014 (edited) Our website - forums.1rangers.com Recruiting exceptions: We at the 1st Ranger Battalion are recruiting any one at or above the age of 15 years old, although exceptions will be made for 14 year old members. (We will be switchingto ArmA 3 on May 31st, 2014 when GameSpy shuts down for ArmA 2) How we operate: We try to operate and reenact the real US Army 1st Ranger Battalion. We go by different codes of: Loyalty Duty Respect Selfless Service Honor Integrity And Personal Courage. We take all these values very strict, and all members of the unit should and will follow these values. We do operations and training every weekend (Friday nights, Saturdays, and sometimes Sundays). Our operations are moderate at this point due to numbers in the unit, a rough count of members in the unit is 25-30 members active and still counting. Operations are custom made missions from members of the units and some made based of real operations. Joint Ops: We do accept joint ops with medium to small sized units, we are currently at a medium size with about 13-17 people per operation. Types of training: BCT (Basic Combat Training) ACT (Advanced Combat Training) Jump School Aviation Training Armored/ Engineer Training Marksman/ Sniper Training Spec Ops Training And much more to be listed... We take training to a serious matter. We expect all members by 1-2 weeks to be have BCT completed. ACT is a infantry ONLY course, Pilots and Armored Crewman don't need ACT.
