N'Ziwasogo A3 terrain (Released)

378 posts in this topic

I'm pleased to present my latest terrain for Arma 3 : N'ziwasogo

The map is 20 x 20 km, mostly covered with thick (yet playable) jungle and also features many Towns and settlements.

3.500.000 objects, nearly all of them are green.

Of course almost all objects are from Arma 2 era.

I Thank Icebreaker for giving me permission to use buildings from Duala, Alduric for his A3MP which improves A2 buildings render, and Berghoff for his wonderfull african foliage addon.

Changelog :

V093 (for patch 1.60)

-Redone the config based on New altis reference.
-Redone some of the ground textures as the old ones looked very shiny with the new lighting technology.
It's far from perfect, but it works.
Updates will come later when I figure out how to do better.

I'm not responsible if you catch Malaria or Yellow Fever while playing on this map :)

Congrats on the release. It seems we're going to have quite a few African maps. I have 3 in production for A3... waiting on proper tools though to wrap the up ;)

Nice! I haven't played it yet but looking at your screenshots it appears you have an airport at the south of the map! Do you have any smaller "airstrips" for bush pilots, further inland? Looks like an excellent place for a safari by Cessna :D

"Download exceeds daily bandwith limit." Mirrors would be welcome. But great looking map, allthough I had hoped for a standalone. Nevertheless, excellent work! :)

If you like you can drop it onto http://withsix.wetransfer.com then we will provide fast world-wide mirror :)

In case connection issues I can recommend cutting it into smaller pieces, e.g through WinRAR or 7-zip built-in support.
