Altis - Interesting locations - Undewater & above

Recommended Posts

It's quite dry around the Mediterranean Sea.

I believe it's a bit hard to understand for people living in country where it rains almost every days but water is a rare resource here .

It rains here not too often but when it rains, it can be called "Deluge", so you can find here and there dry reservoirs build to protect living areas from flood like Xirolimni Dam.

The dry lakes are to be flooded only during equinox "high tides", daily tide range being around 5/10 cm.

Edit : Daily tide range on Altis probably in the 0/5cm range (Source : http://www.aviso.oceanobs.com/typo3temp/pics/afaef98d3d.gif)

There are some small inland lakes on Altis, in the north end of the southern peninsula (think Skopos).

IMO the most interesting parts of Altis are between Kavala and Thronos. Great landscape for admiring and also for waging war upon.

I have no great love for the flatlands to the East.

Biggest caves ive seen so far are also in the rugged terrain to the East off kavala, did found some small ones 2.some grave sites, wrecks, containers, fueltanks on the seabed.

Love to go on little expeditions with a couple buddies and investigate possible locations.
