Hey Hammer, is it possible to get a minor update to fix and make the weapons become place-able in the 3d Editor?

hello, I'm going to be the third person to say this without an actual fix or response that helps.....I've installed the mod properly, put it in my server's root, placed the key in the key folder, added the command lines. Still says isn't accepted by this server. I've tried it from the workshop download and from the armaholic download and it is still not working. Really sucks because I loved this pistol pack on arma 2 so i was looking forward to adding it to my server in arma 3. Any help would be great, or a proper working bikey would be even better!

Hey man, way back when on my old server I had the same issue, RobertHammer told me to take the bikey from the RH M4 pack (even if you aren't using the M4 pack) and put that in the pistol packs key folder. It should sort out your problem.

No success. Used the M4 Bikey, still saying the same thing. Idk I think I may just commit to letting my desires for increased pistols to fade away for now until something else comes along. THanks for trying any way though. It was worth a shot.

Hi, Rob!

Love your pistols pack! They are absolutely stunning!

Here's my suggestion for pistols to include in future updates: HK45CT and Salient Tier 1 Glock19, completed with laser/light combo, suppressor, and red dot optic for both. These are popular among SMUs, especially DEVGRU. 

Anyway keep up the good work! Looking forward to your updates.

Great pack, still unvanquished as our go-to pistol pack.

 

Feedback...

 

The sights on at least the Glock 19 are misaligned.  I haven't tested the other Glocks.

 

If you're ever in a mind to add to the pack, it'd be très sweet to see an M45A1 CQBP  ;)  :D  B)  :ph34r:

Damn, the grip of this one is so ugly...

 

There is a Kimber desert/ night warrior in the pack, I think this is the M45.

Great pack! And still my top secondary weapons mod!

 

If you ever have a mind to add more, though, it'd be awesome to see more .40 caliber.

One I have in mind would be the Beretta PX4 Storm, probably my favorite pistol ever.

Guys making suggestions, just be aware that for the time being the mod isn't in development. While I hope Robert comes back to update the best pistol pack available just bear in mind that they haven't received an update for a VERY long time.

He mentioned some pages before that he is busy with other stuff. Project ASTFOR I guess.

R.H. has never let us down and i'm quite sure this A3 Pistol pack from him is far far from dead.  However I have noticed it could use a couple quick config updates. The new ways the guys are rigging their addon vests to actually show the pistol being in them is making RH pistols all appear to have the slide locked back at all times. The 'TRYK addons' and the 'TAC vests' addons as well as massis'  'USSOCOM vests' are all showing this confliction. I will check in with the vest guys to see if they can sniff out the cause and maybe drop a config patch to fix, 

 

 

**If you do revisit this pack for future additions RH; could you add a proper H&K MP7 as a sidearm because that weapon is carried by most US SF forces and the ones that have been provided by other authors show the weapon being readied one-handed. And even if you don't make anything new,, just come back to us! Your presence here in the forums and community has helped and encouraged countless people over the years. Thanks for all you have done for the series throughout the years, an "Armed Assault Modders Hall of Fame" should be designed  :)

I need to do some more testing, but I think the point of aim and point of impact on the Glock 19 is off (at least at pistol engagement kind of ranges).

 

Your pack is still the best pistols out there RH!

Yus! I cannot wait for these bad boys to be updated, still my must have mod.

I discovered some things that may could be fixed easily, but take all your time.

 

The overall Volume of the pistols should get raised a little, they are kind of silent.

The Glock 18 has some visual magazine bugs when switching the firemode.

(speaking of the glock 18, it would be awesome if the fire selection switch would actually move :D and on the slide there is still a "17" instead of a "18")

The pistols may could be a bit repositioned in the pistol holster.

 

thats pretty much everything that Ive discovered. Oh and could it be possible to add attachements for the vanilla pistols?

The best sidearm mod since the Arma 3 Alpha :D

Hey guys love this pack along with the M4 and accessory pack i have those on my server but I'm having an issue with the bikey for the pistols pack, I've switched it from the M4 to the acc and back to the pistol bikey but no joy I still get

the unassigned bikey error for the rh_de.pbo which i find odd as from what i understand the bikey from the M4 ans accesory pack work with each other so i dont know what the problem is with the bikey from the pistol pack is.

Can anyone shed some light on this.

Seems that since the APEX update, the following error is pointing to your Pistol Pack :

 

No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons.ItemInfo'.

 

Only have two content mods for weapons, accessories and gears these days, RHS and your Pistol Pack. When deactivating and reactivating the mods one by one, this error seems to be tied with your mod.

 

Not a specialist of course, so i'm not 100% sure, you'll tell us.

 

Oh, and if a possible update happened to come with a .45 Glock, an HK P30, some Sig 1911 TacOps or P320, or even a laser attachment visible by day,you know ;)

 

Joke aside, not asking for anything of course, but do you plan further updates for the pistol pack, maybe with new sound and echoes effects to stick with the new BI sounds?

Good to know I'm not the only one getting these particular errors--I also pretty much exclusively use RHS AFRF/AFUS mods and your pistol pack.

RobertHammer, is there a way to realign the pistols so they sit centered in holsters? I've noticed there's a major difference between BIS' pistols and yours. BIS' are centered while yours are off-center and clip into the holster regardless of where it sits. Of course, this whole pistol/holster proxy thing came about long after your last update.

 

EDIT: vanschmoozin stated in his VSM release thread that BIS' pistols use the trigger for the proxy while yours use the outer right side of the pistol.
