Christian.1987's Mp7 ported to A3

This is my port of Christian.1987's mp7, originally released for Arma2.

Compatible with Arma 1.44

Thanks to Pomigit, it comes with several camo variants.

Laser pointer mounted on top rail (only for the non-sidearm variants of the smg!!!):

Do not use this peq on any other weapons! It fits only the mp7 (primary), and it will float around other weapons

- damage slightly increased to bring it between 9mm and .acp round

- added a variant with Zeiss Z-point sight that was featured in Christian's original release. Unfortunatelly Z-point is not modular (you cannot disasemble it from the weapon).

- Added images for weapons (they are not very accurate, though).

- Config rewritten by Robalo!

- Some changes to class names (see updated class names above).

It's not you. It's the standard A3 suppressor provided by BIS. The weapon is supposed to be modular so it has to utilize this suppressor.

Already mine this mod is ! GvsE, really a superb job ! And I love to see that it came alive with a great cooperation of an other modder ;) Keep this up and make us some other splendid things to play with !

the thought has crossed my mind but Im so new to all this that Ive been trying to follow the guidelines that I have found. Im gonna give it a go, especially that you have provided the code for pistol suppressor.

This looks really nice, congrats for the release. About the above, have you tried using the pistol suppressor instead (muzzle_snds_L) ?

Let me know if you need help with the config.

OK, so I applied Robalo's suggestion to use pistol suppressor. Here are a few screenshots so you can see the difference (bear in mind the suppressed sound is that of a pistol too!). What do people think, which is better, a rifle suppressor or pistol suppressor?

Interestingly enough, looking at one of the weapons photos in No Easy Day (just the weapons, no other gear besides mounted accessories) reveals that the MP7A1 suppressor and the suppressor used on the HK416 with approximately ten-inch barrel look very similar in length, size and overall outer dimensions.

Any chance you can throw in a m4 with that pistol suppressor? Never hurts to ask.

you will have to ask Alwarren about the m4. He's been working on his own model of that rifle.

As for the update, yes, it's in the works. The highlights include:

1. shorter suppressor from A3 pistol

2. an mp7 variant with Z-point sight (the sight itself is not modular [you cant take it off] but the other attachments [suppressor, side attachments] will be)

3. config rewritten by Robalo!

Right now there's a conflict with another addon, and Robalo is kindly looking into it.
