Where is the view Flyby?

I dont think there is one? That would be GREAT! The standard Arma viewing system always kinda sucked IMHO, it keeps snapping back to behind the vehicle. It'd be awesome to have some better & easier ways to get outside views and FOV change (not just holding down plus and have it snap back to default grr)

Thats cool, but when I press enter all it does is show the back end of the chopper just like Arma which is fine, but it always snaps back to that view and its not very easy/friendly. Im not a coder so that list of strings is meaningless to me;) A real fly-by view would be cool!

Yes I agree too. I looked for this link of wiki, some interesting options but it will be nice and simply to use to have one dedicated key for flyby view like in other sims.

Ok, where I can find "Name defines the effect type (a subclass of CfgCameraEffects.Array)"? I dont see something like cfg file.

This is technically possible yep. Best to make a feature ticket in the ToH CIT, if you want

to get the devs implement to be available in any mission at any moment.

It's a shame this was left out as it's a standard feature on flight sims. I did suggest it many months ago but was told to 'use the existing camera system' which isn't the same thing.

Easy to do just by adding and action to the pilot...

Tkoh have a script already ingame called: cameras.sqf

Parameter(s):_this select 0: target vehicle

works with:

"static", "flyby", "attached"

I agree, I dont think its acceptable to just leave things 'as is' if your trying to play this title off as a helicopter simulation. It might be ok for Arma but laziness not to even attempt to differentiate it from that and let us have some standard flight sim stuff.

a flight sims doesn't stand into a flyby cam, but more into the flight model simulation, if you do not see the difference with arma, I suggest to fly in arma as graphics are better.

flyby cam: an addaction command to exec an sqf 3 lines script binded to a key

yes I agree nice feature but added by default or not, you press a key and you get the flyby, same thing to me.

Now "..regarding to play this title off as a helicopter simulation..", Oh yes they did, and better than what already exist, even if many things still need to be adjusted !

I say TKOH is on a good direction, well done Devs
