Irish Defence Force: Beta 1.0 Infantry

A Little Info:

The units included in this addon are designed to represent the Irish Defence Force (hereafter IDF) Infantry. Please note these are retextures of the standard USMC units and are therefore not 100% accurate. We hope to be updating them in the future with more accurate uniforms and equipment along with other releases turning this into a fully fledged mod.

Required Addons:

These units require the Usec Weapons addon, that included the Steyr Aug variants.

Downloading now, will be using them in a mission later, thanks for all the hard work.

i'm hoping someone from armaholic or somewhere else notices this and hosts it pretty soon...i don't know how much i trust filefront to remain stable

I wonder will any mission makers step up to the mark and make a mission based in The Congo, chad, Liberia, or Lebanon?

Really like these, will be watching closly for future developments. Ref the Steyr Aug variants, is there anyway to get the eye point closer to the sights, and picky ,picky of me but is there a way to get the copy stance mod to work with these, thanks for all the hard work Aeneas.

I can edit the face textures easily enough to give them red hair etc lol. Either way there a little tweaks here and there to be made thanks for the support.

The german link posted on the previous page is incorrectly titled. These units have nothing to do with my previous UK special forces addons and are part of the Irish defence force mod. If anyone knows any mods over there could you please get them to change it to avoid confusion thanks again for hosting though guys! :)

is it possible to give the steyrs to a different unit in a mission? i have those XDF Descam aussie soldiers but they have M4s...how easy would it be to modify the pbo to give them steyrs permanently and if that is very comlplicated then would i just be able to use the init line?

you can give the usec steyrs to any unit you want in your mission set up...you don't have to modify any pbo

use the init line

aug class names should be in the usec weapon thread
