AAD10 co10 Mission Operation Silent Wind (V.2.2)

This is a typically special force mission. First, you have to infiltrate the island Utes by boat. Ask a contact person and gather military documents for further information. Manipulate several electricity generators to shut down the lights in a troop camp and of the airport. Use the cover of darkness while you attack them. After neutralizing a pilot crew of a sophisticated aircraft you need to eliminate a general. But be aware. As soon as he is informed about your presence he will try to escape. Generally, the whole island is loaded with Russian troops.

The key to success in this mission is teamwork, darkness and silence.

Sorry. A new Version (1.5) is already available. There have been several dedicated server problems with the map.
(Quite hard to find such bugs on a local system...)

Hi,

some suggestions for testing:

Download the Dedicated Server.exe, move it into your ArmA installation directory. Create the server.cfg serverconfiguration file and set an administration password (further details in the biki), then start the dedicated server and connect on it as a pure client.
By cutting your internet connection you are also able to connect to the dedicated server more than once, i.e. as a second or third client, to test jip behavior of your mission.

You cannot test Multiplayer behavior on a local host from out the editor preview or a local hosted session.
Try that, and you will end up like me with my very first missions releasing update on update on update on update.

And do testing mate. Testing sucks, and is just boring, but one of the most vital processes in mission development. Trust me. :-)

Hi

I did already a lot of testing on our own clan dedicated server. So, there aren't a lot of JIP, etc. problems left.

But thanks for your help. I didn't know its pos to have arma2 and a dedicated running on the same system for testing. I will do that straight away.
