Four Co-Op Missions

1. Defend Castle (Version 3) DOWNLOAD

Situation: Devil's Castle is under siege

Mission: Last the hour against the enemy onslaught until re-inforcements arrive.

Enemy: Infantry, Medium Armoured Vehicles & Heavy Armoured Vehicles

Friendly: 5-man team, several USMC on guard with Mounted Machine Guns, M1A2 TUSK and an AH-1Z Cobra are all at your disposal.

Things worth noting:

Enemies come at you in waves, some one/two groups other times you can be facing a large number of enemies.

Crate at spawn with almost every weapon in the game available for use.

Good sniping observation in the tower to see advancing enemies.

Respawns infinite (designed as a good release of frustration)

2. Survival: Stary Sobor DOWNLOAD

Situation: The enemy is pushing through Stary Sobor in an attempt to reclaim the Northern Airfield

Mission: Survive the enemy onslaught for one hour, until re-inforcements arrive.

Enemy: Infantry, Medium Armoured Vehicles & Heavy Armoured Vehicles

Friendly: 5-man team, several USMC on guard with Mounted Machine Guns, M1A2 TUSK and an AH-1Z Cobra are all at your disposal.

Things worth noting:

Crate at spawn with almost every weapon in the game.

Respawns infinited.

AH-1Z Cobra is a one time use and will not respawn. You may repair/rearm/refuel back at airfield (but Sidewinder/Hellfire will not be restocked)

M1A2 TUSK is respawnable, but you will have to wait 10 minutes.

I placed a few empty MG emplacements around the town, they're worth seeking out because the fighting gets really thick at times.

3. Ambush Convoy DOWNLOAD

Situation: Destroy the High Priority convoy

Mission: A Convoy is set to re-inforce a small town to the South, acting as a staging post to attack our Forward HQ's. Destroy the convoy before it reaches it's destination.

Enemy: Infantry, Medium Armoured Vehicles & Heavy Armoured Vehicles

Friendly: 4-man Fire Team. Each armed with either Satchel Charges or Mines. No other backup will be possible at this time.

Things worth noting:

You have a fair delay between you getting to the location and the convoy showing up, so plan carefully. You only have one shot.

Respawns are infinited, but you respawn some distance away.

There is nowhere to rearm, if you get low, check the bodies.

Fun mission, good for getting teamwork and Ambush tactics down. Should last approx 30-45 minutes.

4. Destroy Resupply Convoy (Version 3) DOWNLOAD

Situation: Destroy Resupply Convoy

Mission: Our agents at Russian HQ have confirmed that the enemy will be re-inforcing Pustoshka with weapons, ammunition, medical supplies and fresh men. It's imperative we kill as many of these vehicles as possible, as a resupply at Pustoshka could mean losing the Northern Airfield in a matter of days.

Enemy: Infantry, Medium Armoured Vehicles & Heavy Armoured Vehicles

Friendly: 1 AV8B Pilot and a 3-man Fire Team equipped with Mines, including one AT Specialist equipped with Javelin. Spotter is armed with Laser Marker for the purpose of guiding the AV8B's LGB's.

Things worth noting:

Do NOT let the AI be the AV8B pilot. He'll mess up the convoys route and spread them out, and generally mess up the whole mission.

You have approx 24 minutes to reach the destination, place mines and setup before the convoy gets close. It's a long mission but a damn fun one.

To use the transport, make sure you're in first-person, press SPACE, go to COMMUNICATION and order Support-Transport and aim where you want the transport as you press it.

Same thing for telling him where to drop you off, except you use the map. It's easy when you know how but can seem tricky at first.

There are NO respawns, but I have included the First Aid Modules (with the exception of ACTION, because I beleive it to cause problems)

Hope people like the maps and have as much fun as me and my friends have with them, they're not spectacular but they are good fun.

And if you spot any bugs, I'd be more than happy to fix them up. Constructive critiscism also welcome.

PS, They're also now in PBO format (But I advise anyone who's learning to script missions depbo them and use any of my works at their own will, I have used some other peoples scripts in my missions, so leave them untouched unless the author has given permission)

Escape & Evasion:

Going to spend alot more time on this, each time you play it will be different dependant on the routes you decide to take. Get from Point A to Point B alive (Limited respawns). This won't be done anytime soon as I want to make sure it's perfect on release and will be best played with a fairly large group of people (and could take a few hours to complete).

The Playground:

Building on my Utes Playground map (no one here will be aware of) you will have all weapons/vehicles/aircraft available for testing purposes. As well as a shooting range for practicing the different weapons.

Each vehicle will eventually have a mission you can choose to accept/decline which will be designed specifically for that vehicle to test it's driving/flying/weapons/combat ability. For example, if you jump in a Shilka, you'll have a set of waypoints and at intervals along the way, you will have aircraft flying overhead which you can practice killing.

Come on guys I know theres people downloading and playing these, feedback would be awesome. Suggestions no matter how small, bug reports (although if I'm not getting posts because there are no bugs I'll be extremely happy) lol.

The two Survival Missions are some seriously good fun. Great missions really enjoyed playing them and a great way to let off steam. Only played through once but found no issues. In Stary Sobor mission your told to defend the castle rather than the town itself. I know its nothing major but proberly should change that :).

The Ambush Convoy Mission was also good fun. I really do like the more tactical and paced approach compared to the 'the convoys here now go before they leave!' ambush missions im used to. It could perhaps be improved with a little more information in the briefing as the time delay between the arrival of the convoy is quite large and threw us off. That could just be that me and my friends are slightly slow tho :p

The transport support in the Destroying Resupply Convoy doesn't work though claims theres 'no support available' which prevented us from playing that mission :(. All-in-all though i really enjoyed your missions well done. Bring us more missions now please :)

Thanks for the feedback and I'll look into these issues, glad you enjoyed the ones that did work ;)

Just to confirm with the Resupply Convoy though, did you make sure one man was the Fire Team Leader? As I've had this working online myself so I'm not sure where to start in making sure this works 100% :P

Ok missions are now updated, thanks again Kingprawn for letting me know of problems.

-Stary Sobor "Defend the castle" intro now changed to "Defend the town"

-Resupply Convoy Mission should now have transport available (I'm not sure why it wasn't working, so I took everything out I had, checked forums a little and found I had a bit of conflicting code, sorted now I hope)

-Added a Briefing to the Ambush Convoy map as well as some text on the waypoints

-Removed the second Huey (synchronized with the AV8B pilot)
