Released the public version of my heli sound mod , here you are

Released a new 1.02 update

Dowload ver 1.02

Mirrors on multiupload

This changes heli sounds like MH-60 , UH-1Y , AH-1Z , Mi-17/8 , Mi-24 and Ka-52

btw maybe some sounds will be louder or less , it will be tweaked in next version

Hmm i just tried testing with VOP enabled/disabled as well and im pretty sure it doesnt work together. The Heli sounds definately sound like the VOP heli's to me, shame.

From the videos i hear no directional sounds? Like when under the helis they should sound more powerful (another mixed in sound).

Sounds great judging from the vids. I like the high pitch of the engine in the mh60 sound. What is the distortion when the helo's fly overhead though?

distortion is a bug in arma 2 when u set ur volume over 50% in the settings.

Any chance this could be made compatible with VOP 2.0? The sounds are awesome and I'd love to use it, but the fact that it can't be used along with VOP means I'll have to give it a miss for now.

The can be used alongside Vopmod, Vo.2 said he hadn't altered the chopper sounds for his 1st A2 release. So RH's chopper sounds should work fine.

That's what I thought until i tested, even with FRAPS. Just goes back to plain vanilla chopper sounds when VOP is enabled. As i said, real shame because i love these sound mods makes a huge difference for me. Any way to support both together would be great. Unless its just me? Maybe someone else who wants to run both would be able to...

I did change some of the chopper sounds. So its not compatible yet. Please wait some days for the update.

I have encountered a bug with the FFAR sound. I was using a Cobra on manual fire and when I fired the FFARs the sound was not in time with the rockets. I'd be firing many rockets and I'd only hear the firing sound once every few seconds. And if I stopped firing before the sound finished, it just abruptly ended.

Any chance of doing the MV-22, Robert? I'd love to have a sound other than the, imo, bad current one. (though the current may be realistic, I dunno)
