Some retextured Hips for your hangars and helipads.

Note: Only tested with Combined Operations (ArmA 2 + OA)

This pack adds seven retextured Mi-8/17 and five pilots to the game. It includes five "hush hush" Mi-8 helicopters in diffrent paint shemes that look close to ones seen at various "hotspots" around the globe and five diffrent looking types of pilots. It also includes a Takistan Guerilla Mi-8 and a Czech Mi-17 both with the standard units as pilots. The textures of the Czech Mi-17 were laying around unused in the BIS files.

I've not experienced any problems but I'm not sure about the signing. Any kind of feedback would be welcome.

Nice work dude! I am not a big fan of reskins but these are great. Like the pilot skins they rock. Might send you a p/m asking for permission to use gray texture for jet pilots I am working on.

I know exactly what you mean. I'd really like to have the back doors removed and some armor plates' date=' winch, countermeasures, diffusors, aux tanks, new weapons etc. added but I'm not sure if it's worth the effort. Besides that I'm not very proficient in modelling and don't know if there would be problems with creating the TI textures and so on.

Btw, here are some fotos of the "special" ones I used as samples for the retextures.

Very nice job Plague, good additions to all of the sides, especially for the PMCs which are lacking some must-have vehicles (some Grizzly like APC/MRAP for example).

I'd say if you're not into model making, I agree with you that A1 mlods wouldn't worth to throw out a Mi-8 without back door, also with the current game possibilities it wouldn't add any benefit, only a visual feature.

We had some issues here at work and i was rushing it as well as watching TV, i hate multitasking at work lol...i should not be hanging out on BIS forums in such circumstances

Seems that the time i spent with my own retexture was well spent LOL :p. Didn't know there were those textures already. Anyway, really good work ;)

Lennard was so kind and gave me the PBO of the one he already worked on. I'll try to do my best to get that thing ingame. Have to ask some people for help but I'm confident it'll happen some day.

Just a quick question, Plage.

In the readme, you say the Mi-8MTV-1 is Guer faction, but in the editor under empty, it calls them Mi8-MTV-1 [Takistani Locals]. Just to confirm, this particular unit is configed as guer faction?

Sorry for not answering the last question in time. The Takistani Locals are a "Resistance" faction (description: BIS_TK_GUE) and that's why I wrote guerilla.

I worked it out by testing not long after I asked, so not a problem.

Many thanks for this addon. The MTV-1 is great. Even after you take out it's tail rotor, the gunners keep shooting! There's dedication! :)
