Arma 2:OA Update 1.50-1.54 To 1.55 ???

There is update to 1.55 on the official ArmA2 page.

What is it? How come there is no mention of it in the forums here?

I know we can have 1.55 beta 75445, but that beta has only 44MB, while this patch is 266 MB.

So what is the difference?

Is this 1.55 final ???

The latest beta uses 1.55 to denote itself rather than 1.54 so it could be that although it seems too big...

Well, i guess i'll wait for someone to officialy announce it, and explain what it is.

I don't wanna mess up my ArmA installation with some "incorrect" patch as i once did :)

No changelog or news post here yet. I know the changelog will mostly be those of the beta patches, but they always sneak some stuff in

Well, i am used to the forums here more than to the confusing layout of those webpages :)

Anyway, looking at the "changelog" i don't see a difference between this patch and the betas, so why should i even use this if there is nothing changed ? (but then again, this patch is 266 MB, so what is changed exactly????)

How do I get Steam to update? I've disconnected and reconnected and thought it happened automatically.

Just look at the front page of arma2.com, not so confusing then :)

Download it and take a look into the Changelog :)

The beta patches don't have (many) data changes while a full patch most of the times has (and it includes the A2 update to 1.08 and BAF/BAF Lite update to 1.01)

Patching went fine without any errors. It automaticly patched also ArmA2 and BAF. But now the OA+BAF,OA and CO dosent work. The game stuck to black screen (when without nosplash) and to waiting screen (with nosplash). ArmA2 1.08 works normally. I dont have any mods, OA and BAF is from sprocket. Any other having problems?

Don't see anything about the M-14's red dot being fixed. I'm downloading the patch so I guess I'll find out.

arma2.com unreachable since ~6PM GMT+1.

Still awaiting official announce on these forums.

They must be working on STEAM update.
