Mod to disable Motion Blur and Running Blur very needed

The bob & blur is awesome, utterly authentic and immersing. Want to track fine detail better? Then walk don't run.

hello all

i think the point some of us are trying to make is, regardless of whether blur is "good" or "bad" etc ad nauseum, what we would like to see is the option to use it or not depending on our rigs, moods, biorhythms etc.

Just give us a choice to enable the bits we like and disable the bits we don't like.

That way everyone is happy, except the poor bugger that has to code it.

Here :) It allows disabling the motion blurs and optionally the "bloom" as well. Disabling the motion blur effect seems to increase the fps as well, an official fix would propably increase it a bit more since this one just replaces the PS effect with a direct copy "effect".

tested it...great!

-improves FPS (i think its like 5 FPS more now)

-no more wierd glowing stuff (even the sky looks great again)

-no motin blur when turning

There´s no blur when running with the mod as far as I have seen up to now. Maybe you have TFT monitor ?

Postprocess effects at low + noblurB =WIN

There´s no blur when running with the mod...

Confirmed, make sure you are running game with noblurB

many many thanks for this, the game was unplayable for me in first person due to my GPU introducing an odd pulsing effect, now works fine!

It's a great fix - but screws up my left-hand interaction menu where I command my team with. Also some other command stuff, like I can't tell them by simple point and click to enter an empty vehicle, or to go some place on the map. Running 1.01b, do I need 1.01 full for this? Or the english files?

With the Blur disabler and using a old Catalyst i can enjoy my A2 on higher settings again.

For those who got problems with a ATI card in A2, try to get a older catalyst, i use 9.2 for now ( till ATI releases a fix for 9.5 ) and it works better and more stable with A2, lot lot less texture loading.

No one else got problems with his command menu trough these pbos? Can't belive I'm the only one.
