    Starlancer and Freelancer are pretty good games. As well as the Wing Commander games if ya wanna go truly old school PC gamer.

    If you're looking for 2003/2004 games, Homeworld 2 and Rome Total Wars run very well on that g31/g33 kind of card too.

    Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption.
    If you are looking for a good story, this is where to go. There's just something about a cruisader against evil turning into an undead vampire with all moral consequences that go with it, as well as dragging an innocent nun down with him into decay, when she decides to leave her convent out of love for him and hunt him down in the vampyric underworld to reunite with him.
    I make it sound so very dumb perhaps but it really is a great story.
