Not to diss your work Sickboy but SixUpdate 2.0 looks like something I'll want to use instead of something I have to use. A GUI like that is long overdue, great work.

If you use the updater to convert your existing mod-folders which exist on the network, then you can use the updater to update them.
If you don't convert them, you won't be able to update them, but you are still able to start the game with them.
You find the Convert action in the Actions selection.

Hehe, thanks ;-) Personally i'm also glad and happy that I've had the time and motivation to start on the project finally, and that IronRuby is in a usable state as evident by the app

No promises but i'm planning 2.0 RC at the end of the month, and then 2.1 with more improvements and simplifications for the next.

Cool Six Updater 2.0 Beta 2; First public beta

As promised (long ago already actually), I would hereby like to present to you, the Six Updater 2.0 Beta 2, first public beta.

The current feature set mostly matches that of the previous Updater Suite, yet in a brand new interface.

2.0 as previously announced is the first incarnation of the Six Updater on the .NET platform, while the next 2.1 version is intended to further simplify and improve the software.
The current beta is of reasonable quality; functional and without known major issues (the development was internally tested past weeks).

You can download the software from: http://dev-heaven.net/projects/six-updater-gui/files
The software requires .NET Framework (Client Profile) 4.0: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/e...0-ac39b33fd8ab

You can find the details of the software at:
    http://six.dev-heaven.net/wagn/Six_Updater

    As always, your feedback and bug reports are welcome at dev-heaven or wave;
    http://six.dev-heaven.net/wagn/Six_Updater+Support

Please do check the Roadmap and issue tracker for known issues and planned features:
    http://dev-heaven.net/projects/six-updater-gui/roadmap

As a final note, the software can be used side-by-side with the existing updater. The database will be shared, but without issue (as long as you run one at a time :P).

    Lightbulb

Squashed a bunch of bugs, and improved initialization and progress bar handling.

Works fine for me, just one little bugger so far. My mouse icon will change to the doublesided arrow to show that i can change the size of rows, even when i have my mouse over the boxes to check skip/installed etc.

    So I am all like
