Place Individual Units

Is there a way to put units on a map close to each other without connecting to one another close by? Like each of these individuals have their own 1 man squad.

If so I'd appreciate it if you reply back with the solution to my problem.

Oh, and this is regarding to operation flashpoint resistance

Put 1 unit anywhere and 2 unit anywhere.than drag 2 unit with mouse near the first unit.you need to click on ist unit and hold that when you ready to drop/put that unit.

Select the Groups tab (F2) and if the unit is already grouped to someone else, simply click on the unit while the Groups tab is selected and drag a line anywhere on the map. The unit will be then ungrouped. You can use the same method to group units with anyone you want - Simply drag a line to another unit.
