Problem with ArmA: Armed Assault [5850+7 x64 inside]

Hi, I've got a problem with ArmA (the first) and my pc
that's the configuration:
Asus P5QL SE + Intel Q6600 + 2*2 GB DDR2 + Radeon 5850 + Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
I've patched at last the game and I've the newest driver of my video card, but when I start the game, the monitor remains black, and then starts (with textures problems) the initial video sequence, in an infinite loop
what should I do to resolve this problem?
PS: I don't now if it is important, but I've got the special metallic edition of the game

That's not easy. I don't use Win 7 yet, but if you got Win 7 Ultimate, did you try the XP-mode ? Which ArmA version is it ? Which video resolution do you use ?

i'll try the xp mode...btw i have tried all the available resolutions

Last version? .. is it 1.18? Should run fine... but if lower then it's
most likely memory issue wll known.. here's the remedy for that... try it:
