Hi folks

my team (AngryInsects) are old OFP fanatics

and we all played mostly the crCTI (by CleanRock) Mission for years.

So why dont play it in ArmA ? No reason to do not.:q:

We have done a great version for ArmA wich is 99% same as OFP.

With a lot of help from the community and well known scripters and addonmakers.

We have now a perfect playable crCTI.

So we want to give it back and share this project with you.

We added some new features of ArmA II and OA aimed on balancing and fairplay to increase the fun.

You can even play vs AI if you got a server.

See how the AI attacks you. Raise your skills by using this simular to a strategy tactic game.

some features of crCTI:

-Civilians in towns (if you kill = penalty)
-Build bases freestyle (how you like)

New Version

We have overworked the Mod and Mission completly.Near all vehicles from A2 has got new configs wich make them smooth to OA.

Now this crCTI has a much better balance.We have included some of the best community tweaks and releases wich fits perfectly.

For example many PvPscene tweaks or Truemods parts. All changes are listed in a pdf file inside the download.

Its in 3 languages german, english and czech.

If you want to play with ACRE you dont need to build it in the Mission its allready done and will start with autodetect.

Note:

You will need a dedicated server to play this.

Nice to see its still alive. Will be interesting to hear if gameplay will be as fun as in ofp.

Hey CR,its a honour for me to work on this wich is mostly your work.

Its absolutely alive as we do play it almost every day.

Its works near 99% same like in OFP and the gameplay goes the same way.

For my team there is no better Gamemode so far thats why we play it since OFP.

Get Towns,build bases,fight vs Resistance and Enemyside,earn money,send AI to WPoints let them hold Towns,check zones,transport duty and beeing a team is working well !!!JIP is not working 100% but it does work.

I saw your server in a network and tried to come on it. Need addons from Angry (angry_t72.pbo, angry_zu.pbo and atothers...)! Where they can be downloaded???? :confused:

Yes CR it is alive! And although it has some problems because the scripts are made for ofp and not arma2, i still find it the best cti for arma2.

I look forward to trying this. Existing warfare's can be fun, but I miss the crcti style of play.

I miss repairable buildings! With Warfare, there's no incentive to build/defend a base. Instead you end up with individual buildings spread around map = lame

He is one of the rare OFP Veterans that keeps the real CR-CTI alive!!

And yes, its the best CTI in ArmA2 because its an CR-CTI - !

@CR: Nice to see you here! I will never forget the hours i played your CTIs in OFP - Thanx!

Every side has one commander and Teamleader Slots.

For example:

If there is no human commander on east side, an east AI commander gives orders to the AI Teamleaders to conquer the island or for exmple to find the enemy base.

The AI commander will build the base for east side too.

So if the west side slots are filled by human players they can conquer the island and fight against east AI players and the resistance in towns.

I'd love to see the AI code tweaked so that AI dont run to towns anymore, they drive or fly/para only.

..... then a port of this to my 41km x 41km Sands terrain would be awesome.

They do if you set them on wait in AIcommand.Let one AI do Transport Duty.

Buy a Transport Chopper and thats it...

I reworked many things.

I will release new Missions in some days with more features.

New Parameters,harder Coop and much more.

2. Sometimes the AI commanders appear to build barracks etc and thats it, They then seize up. May be an income issue. Anyone else get this?

Yes the AI Commander is not doing a good job atm ! iam working on that...

Some of our players have same problem with Mando ,has to be in a seperate modfolder.

ill upload up some new missions as soon as they finished

I have fixed the AI commander behave but got problems with JIP.

I play just with AI (no internet MP), and it's so fast and enjoyable !!!

Very good work !!!

I've some wish/suggestion...

1) Mobile HQ load workers capability

2) during the respawn time, a "fly-view" instead respawn screen

3) a Chinook for to load and trasport heavy vehicle
