Village Sweep mission in 1.05 update completed anyone?

alt space command swap helped me whip the opposition,,, and yet I am still unable to have this mission finish...
thanks for replies to earlier post but this time- pls only people who have finished it and had it show up as completed on thier mission list reply to this.
again- banana man is just here cos,,,, well cos,,,, he's awesome! lol- all he needs is a rifle.
this is the last time I'll ask about this so as not to get kicked off for repeating same post.

I have completed it (not sure how you can check that, but I have steam version if that helps). It didn't end for me until I ordered reinforcements and rendezvous-ed with the guy they dropped off.

I haven't needed reinforcing, playing on the veteran difficulty....
this is getting pretty old, pretty quick lol.
ah well if somone has finished this stage- pls tell me- did you kill all the enemy and rv or hold that seize and hold point? I've slotted all opp.force guys, had zero casualties, placed squads and vehicles all round the town, and even had my own squad sitting at the seize and hold point...
of course, all before 0830hrs...
dagnabbit is all I can say.
anyone else have this problem and THEN finish it somehow?
and anyone who finished it anyhow- pls tell me how your game played out.

I've completed it. Many times. If I recall correctly, I ordered my armor to the northern and southern areas of the town and occasionally gave them waypoints, while using the infantry to sweep the town. Takes me really only about 10 to 20 minutes to complete. Have yet to play it and it didn't complete.

conduct a sweep of the village-- I should've been listening to the briefing a lot better eh? seems that it's all about clearing heavy opp. from afar by directing vehicles--- then moving squads through.
I've always just headed in myself and blatted all the baddies- lasered the bmp for 500lb's to tap and then continued slogging around on foot...

um-- there's one LAV to be utilised in this mission therefore saying 'I send my armoured units N and S' throws me a bit- as I haven't yet mastered the division of one vehicle using sharp scissors into two vehicles...

yeah, not sure what he meant by that. I wish I could help, but I replayed it and won it in about 10 minutes. I'm assuming you went to the intersection where it tells you to go to seize the town?

I figured there was more, could not remember specifically. In that case, I must have sent it first to the south of the town, and then sent it up north, and just kept doing that when I felt it necessary.
