The 1st Infantry Division is a Virtual Realism unit that operates in the same manner that the United States Army runs its day to day operations; from Basic Training, promotions and Different MOS‘s (Military Occupation Specialties), 1st Infantry Division has many opportunities for you to be involved. We use ARMA 2 as our virtual battlefield. We are looking for people who are ACTIVE, who can show DEDICATION. If you are looking for a very structured, Chain-of-Command, realism based Division, then the 1ID IS for you!!

*Enlisting and Being a Soldier in the 1st Infantry Division;

Enlistment is you first step toward becoming a soldier in the 1st Infantry Division. One of the best parts about this unit is that we know real life comes first while still showing a commitment to the Division. We require activity yes, but that activity can be shown in many ways, such as working on our Development team, web page work and training twice a week. Once you are a member in the 3ID, you'll be put though our Basic Training which includes; Fire Team formations, range safety, vehicle convoy, vehicle identification, dry runs and live fire exercises are just a part of Basic Training in the 1st Infantry Division. These will be the building blocks of your skills as a member of our Division.

* Before enlisting into the 1st Infantry Division, make sure you fit the requirements:

-Must commit to the Division.

-Must be at least 18 years old and speak understandable English.

-Must Have Teamspeak 3.

-Must Have a Working Microphone.

-Must Be Able To Follow Commands.

-Must have ARMA 2 installed on your computer and operational.

-Must be willing and able to download and install addons for the above mentioned game.

-Must enjoy working as part of a structured fighting force.

*What we have to offer!

-We have are own servers for ARMA and ARMA 2.

- MOS’s such as; Mechanized Infantry, Armor, Fixed wing, Rotary wing and Special Forces Operators.

-We also have a Development team that creates different maps and add-ons for ARMA and ARMA 2 specifically tailored to our Division and our realism concepts.

*The Realism

One of the main concepts of the 1st Infantry Division is our dedication to trying to create a realistic military unit in virtual reality. As a member you'll receive the same respect as anyone else should in the real military, if you show respect to others you will gain it. Non Officers address Officers by their rank or Sir on Teamspeak and you will be addressed in kind by other members, respect works both ways in the 1st. We work together to create the brotherhood bond that military units should have.

* A rank structure as closest to the U.S. Army's as possible

* Positions, Jobs, Duties and Roles in the Division.

* FULL Inner Unit Operations; Combat Air Support, Tank support, sniper support, Helicopter insertions and extractions and much more.

* Platoon/Squad/Fire Team Drills. Where tactics and strategy are developed and practiced by all the members of the Division.

* Promotions, Ribbons, Medals and the respect of other members of a realism unit.

We like to have lots of fun, Pub a lot, scrim a lot, and are very active. You can be a part of this, everything listed above, and MORE!
