Firewall ports

Recommended Posts

I have Arma2 and Steam.

When I click Multi-player, to play online, I cannot see any games. I checked my local firewall logs and looks like the game is trying to reach out and is getting denied. Is there a list of ports that needs to be pointed?

Still, I see no games...

I see it trying to reach out to 207.38.11.181 on TCP 28910

Am I seriously the only person that plays games behind a firewall?

If i were you, I would try YOMA's Addon Sync 2009 as a bypass...

1. Just to see if those servers can be reached outside of the game or if they are totally unreachable.

2. It is a very handy application for finding (and a lot of other very useful stuff) online ArmA 2 games (similar to The-All-Seeing-Eye).

When I used to game 8 years ago, I used AllSeeingEye - until they started charging for it... I'll give this a try. Does it need ports forwarded?

When running Addon Sync, Port 28910 TCP is trying to reach 207.38.11.181

So, does anyone know the ports for this program??

For the record, it seems that TCP 28910 needs to be allowed out, plus UDP 2302-2305 need to be port-forwarded to your machine.

My problem is thus resolved.
