Tyson0317 10 Posted February 2, 2010 I have Arma2 and Steam. When I click Multi-player, to play online, I cannot see any games. I checked my local firewall logs and looks like the game is trying to reach out and is getting denied. Is there a list of ports that needs to be pointed? Tyson0317 10 Posted February 2, 2010 (edited) Still, I see no games... I see it trying to reach out to 207.38.11.181 on TCP 28910 Am I seriously the only person that plays games behind a firewall? Edited February 2, 2010 by Tyson0317
sprayer_faust 0 Posted February 2, 2010 If i were you, I would try YOMA's Addon Sync 2009 as a bypass... 1. Just to see if those servers can be reached outside of the game or if they are totally unreachable. 2. It is a very handy application for finding (and a lot of other very useful stuff) online ArmA 2 games (similar to The-All-Seeing-Eye).
Tyson0317 10 Posted February 3, 2010 When I used to game 8 years ago, I used AllSeeingEye - until they started charging for it... I'll give this a try. Does it need ports forwarded? ---------- Post added at 06:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:02 PM ---------- When running Addon Sync, Port 28910 TCP is trying to reach 207.38.11.181 So, does anyone know the ports for this program?? ---------- Post added at 06:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:09 PM ---------- For the record, it seems that TCP 28910 needs to be allowed out, plus UDP 2302-2305 need to be port-forwarded to your machine. My problem is thus resolved.
