    buldozer is constantly crashing

    Hey guys,

    i have serious problems with buldozer. It keeps crqashing as soon i want to preview a model from O2.

    Already tried reinstalling the whole Tools pack but didn't helped. As soon i want to preview my model in ingame graphics, a windows pop ups saying "ArmA 2 has stopped working" (error message is in german so the englisch equivalent may be different). O2 itself works fine, also does ArmA 2.

    It might be that i forgot to set up some settings (which aren't documented anywhere, or if, they're well hidden).

    All i can give is the O2 log:
    Code:

    ArmA 2 = no problems
    Oxygen2 = no problems
    buldozer = crash

    Any help on this would be much appreciated.

    Does your model have a RoadWay lod? I find that any model I try to preview with a RoadWay LOD crashes. I just set it to an Edit lod for previewing.

    Incidentally, mine has just started doing this also! It was fine before... the only thing I can really think of is that I just installed the nVidia beta drivers... :/

    Have you tried starting Buldozer from within Oxygen? When I right click a file and "Send To" buldozer... I do get a crash. However if I start buldozer via Oxygen it works fine

    Maybe i didn't wrote it clear enough: it is caused directly by using O2, not by "Send to..".

    So i open the .p3d (it doesn't matter what i load, happens with all files), go to "View->Viewers->buldozer->Start/restart". Then the buldozer windows opens, it takes a few seconds and for a "part-of-a-second" i can see the model before the windows message pops up saying that the application doesn't work anymore.

    I just got this issue today, after UV mapping the glass of my Dropship (UD4L_glass_ca.paa), only I don't even get a glimpse of my model before it crashes. I tested Bulldozer to make sure that it wasn't my computer/the program with the BI sample models and they work perfectly. I'm at a loss.

    Edit:
    Now that I think about it, I haven't been in bulldozer for a while, so its probably something other than the texture.

    Edit2:
    I need to stop trying to fix my issues after I post. As it turns out, buldozer doesn't like "UD4L_glass_ca..paa".
