Memory leak upon reloading a saved game
This is a very short, and simple, topic. Whenever my buddies and I play Arma 2 and then reload a save the next day whoever hosts goes down to 5FPS average and issuing orders are delayed by 60-120 seconds. Eventually the host will crash to desktop with no warning.
People connecting to the host are unaffected. I've cycled through four friends who all host and give it a shot--Every one of them lags at 5-10FPS no matter what settings when a save game is reloaded. Initially playing the host is as stable as his computer and connection, and nobody gets any lag. But when you load the save... its hell.
Any fix? Anyone having this problem?
Do you use 1.04 or the latest beta patch?
I use 1.04 and the Steam version so I can't use beta patches.

Yes you can.
Beta patches are installed in their own mod folder so they do not overwrite any normal game files.
It occurs to me now the Warfare 2.045 mod isn't compatible with the beta patches so I rolled back to normal 1.4 :P Great, guess I need to wait for the real thing to show up.
In the mean time are there any user end tweaks to fix the save game memory leak?
