Minimal config for 32 players Warfare
Is it possible to get the normal performance with Warfare BE mission for 32 players on a server running Windows 2008, Intel Quad 8200 4 gb ram, 1gbit channel. On default settings after a couple of hours the server fps drops to 5-10. At the same time it's very difficult to connect a server. Message "waiting for server" hangs for a long time before a player can connect.

Long wait for server is most likely due to alot of squad logos that have to be downloaded.
5-10 is pretty much the fps you can expect on a cpu heavy mission like warfare.

During the test there were about 10 people. Squad logo was only my. Players joined quickly during the first hour of play. But decreasing of server FPS in next 2 hours led to considerably increasing of connection time. I tried to test a connect and instead of the usual 5-10 seconds, I was loaded about a minute.
If we approximate these numbers for 32 players, then time will grow considerably and unacceptably.

Doesnt the server have to sync everything from the game to the new player that connected? All money, all ai's, even every little tree/bush that was ran over????? If so that might expalin why after a long time it would get harder to connect.

MY experience is that 16 v 16 is too much. Not for the server but for many clients. I've cut my version [ICED] down to 12 v 12 and there's a 50% increase of perforance on server and a 100% increase on stability for clients.
