Hi all, sorry if this post is somewhere else, but I wasn't able to find anything. Today I began having an issue where between a multiplayer match, while loading, the screen remained black but I could still hear the game and see the cursor as well as move it and click objects. I restarted the game and played for a few hours then it happened again. This time when the main game menu should have come up (with the aircraft carrier) the screen remained black?? same thing? Anyone have this problem before? I am thinking about re-installing my video drivers? Any suggestions is greatly appreciated

Are you using the latest beta version of the game? if so, then thats where the problem is, since i myself have the same black screen issue with just the UI displaying and everything else being black. once i reverted to the normal 1.4 version i not have the problem. but as soon as i try to launch the beta it comes back again, even when doing a direct beta launch.

No, as far as I know I am running regular 1.04 ArmA

are you running with any mods at all? if so try running without them and see what thats like. If not give the beta version a try see if that solves the issue. if you see the -mod=beta command line in your shortcuts properties target location, then yes you are running the beta.

Seems to me like your problem is same as mine but mine is when using beta patches where yours is from using standard patch 1.04.
