As there is so much discussion about how to make and handle custom groundtextures i tried to make a simple and easy to understand tutorial with pictures. This is not meant to be the only and best way but describes my way at the moment. So feel free to add tips and hints to make it better

Well ok...

since i´m a little bit short in time atm i´ll see if i can manage a "text only" version. But in the next few days i want to have some progress with my map first. I´ll keep you informed.
