ATI 4800 2gig Memory issues

Since i have a new pc, ive trying to use dxdll and getting some unusally errors with shadows and the crosshairs appearing as a black square. I assume this is due to that OFP doesnt know how to handle my graphics card?

Any help would be much appreciated

I sometimes have that problem at night with a hole ground texture apering very dark. But mine is a old Raedon X1650 AGP card, maby you need to update drivers?

Does this problem happens without DXDLL ?
It is possible that with DXDLL making some DX8 thing, the driver of your current graphic card are not optimised anymore with some specific DX8 effects.

Often new drivers being optimised for the big seller games break things in older ones.
