Thread: Would You like to see Mumble's LINK - 'open plugin' implemented into ARMA 2?

Absolutely YES! No question about it... compared to the ingame VON, mumble beats it 100-0, hands down, only thing missing from it is inherit support for arma 2. Hopefully, not for long tho

    Votin Yes here as well.

I use the VON a lot so if it can get an improved side-kick im all for it. Anything that can help improve the game is good.

This sounds like a great idea! Mumble is superb! And Free open source too...!!!
I can think of at least one other popular Freeware plugin I'd like implemented too!!!

    Good luck!

(It'll be interesting to see if you attract as many "NO" votes as the Freetrack poll by the time you make 400+ "yes" votes... I can't personally see why people would vote "no" in either case...)

    Sounds good, bring it on

Mumble has excellent quality and low latency, it would be really awesome to also have directional sound for it, even without the sound occlusion VoN offers.

Maybe if the devs are implementing it, they could add the sound occlusion somehow.
