Player looking for squad (not for squads to post looking for players!)

Please check out www.volcbat.com. We take on the role of a fictional British light infantry platoon, doing co-op missions based entirely on the sort of things an infantry platoon would do.

We fill about 80% of your requirements; we play twice weekly (theres no attendence requirement, either), we're running a campaign atm - so there's your cool scenarios, plus theres always guys playing Domination or other games together on none mission nights. You won't get to act as a sniper, but you'll get to take on different roles within the section, and theres possibility to progress to our Patrols section - sort of a specialised recce unit that occasionally offers marksman support. We've years of combined real world experience, so you will get to play in an infantry role, rather than a 14 year olds view of what constitutes an infantry role. I'll be honest, it's not that much variety, but we've been doing it since late 2003 and are still hooked on it; either we're sad bastards or we've got a winning formula.

We don't mind people not being too good - it's attitude and teamplay thats important to us. We do try to play realistically, however, we do realise we're not the internet army, and there is no need to ever call anyone Sir - my signature should humourously sum up our attitude to that!

Hello dear recruiters,

I am currently looking for a leadership-role in a europe-based, ace-using tactical coop-clan.

I'm 28 years old, have BIS-experience from OFP (played a lot on LOL), over Arma (LLBrig & GOL) to Arma2 (GOL).
As can be deducted from my previous clans, I'm looking for a more serious approach in the sense that there is a commandstructure and orders are followed. Also I do expect a certain extent of freedom for squad-/sectionleaders.

Since I've been squadleading (2 fireteams á 4 men + dedicated marksman) for quite a while now, I'm definatly not looking to be a grunt (it's just not fun to be following orders to the letter anymore). I do understand that a clan interested in me will have to evaluate my capabilities, but leadership is my one and only goal.

Additional previous experiences include administrative jobs, specifically recruit-/membermanagment and influencing the clanleader, as well as website and database administration (those had to take a step back due to me being busy with university).

About me:
I have played BI games since Operation Flashpoint and have fallen in love with the open world combat that no other games can give you. I used to play with a group of people involved with the FSX Fleet a flight simulator military community however the majority of the members that played Arma have moved on to other things and or stopped playing. I am not super good because im very out of practice but with a little bit of time I will be back up to par. Mods I currently have installed or plan to install at this time(More on that in the next section) Baghdad Map, Generation Kill Mod, CBA, ACE2

About You(What im looking for):
I am looking for a group that is not to big but not too small either, a group that has to be understanding that my real life does come first and I may not be able to be on every day.
Mods are OK however the last group I played with would want to install every mod available some of them caused errors and what not which bogged down my system so as long as its organized and the mods don't cause issues and what not, mods are not an issue.

I'm First Sergeant Simpson with the 82nd Airborne Division. Currently, we are a small group, we pride ourselves with realism and duty. Obviously, this being a game, we do understand personal needs do come first. We respect that fully, we just ask you to be active and productive. If not, you can always be placed in reserves until you're back.

We don't use a lot of mods, aside from mods we'll be using in exclusive mission we'll be hosting, and once completed you can delete. We only ask that you have A.C.E.

If you're not a "military enthusiast", that's fine as well. This isn't a unit where we down-play member who aren't familiar with military aspects, we teach you and give you references to use. If you have any questions, do PM me or add me on xfire: 33thegame33.

I've posted here before awhile ago but I seem to be needing a different kind of squad now a days. I've spent time in two British realism squads as a gpmg/lmg gunner of sorts.

Anyway, now a days I needs something abit more open and laid back. I'm 26 and a dad of one, I work every day and don't get back in till around 9pm.

Are there any sqauds that just jump in for some co-op gaming?

Alo mate, for a more relaxed atmosphere which looks like your after, but still enjoy decent amount of realism, but mainly we just after abit of fun and banter, we have two coop's nights, but real-life always comes first for our members so if your not there the world will not collapse around your ears!

I am based in Singapore and looking for a good Arma squad that likes realism and military tactics. I served 2.5 years in the Singapore military so not foreign to squad/platoon/company level tactics.
