Hi, today i would like to release the Beta version of my Holden Monaro Civilian and Police version.

This is not the finished version as i still have many more texture varients for the civilian car to apply. I also have a Better Highway patrol texture coming and a working lightbar.

Very nice Monaro but is lacking super shader (car body,glass) I know it's beta ,but guys why using old A1 effects instead of new A2 alot nicer effects in Arma 2

I decided to compare the monaro cop with long-time standing king of arma 2 cop cars: the Skyline.

feel: kind of luxurious, but definitely makes feel fast

feel: a little boring, but it is made up by it's tough appearance

Other Comments
Monaro:
the steering wheel turns the wrong ways, needs to be fixed, but that's pretty much the only bug i've found. Plus the 3 paint jobs including white, plain black, and maroon blows away the skyline cop

Skyline:
you all have driven it, so you should be able to make your own comments

Final Judgment
There's a new sheriff in town, and he's got a V8 muscle to back him up!
The Monaro is the best cop car addon for arma 2 as of right now! The only chance that another will take it's crown is when delta hawk finishes his port of the Crown Vics to arma 2. Currently there is a one critical bug with it when you use the CV in arma 2: YOU CAN'T GET IN THE DAM THING! So for now, the monaro is king, but gradual improvments may even blow away Hawk's CVs, these may include UK Paint skins, seperate lightbar and siren functions (basic wail should NOT be integrated into the horn!) and a higher top speed than the civvy version, and it should near 120, and then it will be the true king of cop cars, being far more useful than the skyline and definately the VAZ, hell, the vaz should now just be used as a taxi! One very good thing i like about the monaro is that when you enter from the right side, it's the front seats, and when you enter from the left, it's the back seats, making it easier to take a criminal to the slammer.
