Is it possible to use the campaign setting as a sandbox?

hey I was wondering, if I could use the campaign, with all its cities, and NPCs, AI etc. Eg, like when you can roam around in the razor two mission.

But with no missions, just to run around the world randomly and have lots of things to kill and find.

Basically using all that is in the campaign as an open sandbox.

    Cheers!

Ive been working on something like this, not a whole lot of progress but I think ive almost got something to show soon...
    US ARMY - Opsgear.com - U N I T E D
Avatars appear more distant than they actually are.

to archive something similar open up the editor, and place a few modules
civ life, civ vehicles, ambient combat and SECOP.
plus the medical modules and arty for added effect

or just DE-pbo the campaign file and pick it apart

Or just go to Scenarios -> My Missions -> Combat. That'll give you a spec ops team + the secops module + civilians + animals and an amount of time that you decide to go at it.

    Ahh that's cool.

I always assumed it was user missions i didnt have... Since it just said 'new mission' haha.

Kind of cool, except I load up my team into a humvee and just get chased down by a enemy helo everytime.

Must try messing with the razor two mission i guess....
