Hit Animations - Animation delay Arma 2 compared to Arma - Stiffness - new Tools

Hi Lads,

I've started creating my own missions and went back to Arma 1 to check a few things. Going back and worth I noticed that the Hit Animations in Arma 1 seem more instant than in Arma 2. In Arma 2 it seems that it "waits" a fragment of a second before kicking in, killing some of the immersion factor. Can we speed that up somehow?

While bringing this topic forward, I noticed how less the actual hit animation has changed. I know we don't have any ragdoll technology, but it would be nice to see a somewhat more slug to an actual round hitting the body. The general stiffness of the hit animation just seems stiff. It would be nice to see some more natrual and fluent animations.

Will the new tools allow for this?
