Linux dedicated server won't load a map

Recommended Posts

Cheers,

I have installed my linux dedicated server, but I must admit defeat with running it. I can run the server and it comes online. Then I connect to it and select map ( I picked smallest I could see - Nobody Nowhere ).

After selecting map, the very last output is Reading mission (disregard last message, it was me joining and disconnecting from the server):

arma$ ./server -port 2032 -pid /usr/local/games/arma/armaserver.pid -config /usr/local/games/arma/server.cfg -name "Tuzoks dedicated server" -netlog

After spinning 10minutes of 100% load on my 2,2GHz processor, I killed the server since it's certainly just busy looping. Dedicated server on my windows machine started within seconds.

If anyone had any suggestions what may have caused this issue, I'd appreciate any help.

P.S. Did you know that pressing ctrl-C will crash the server?

P.P.S. Operating system: Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 Etch (glibc-2.3.6)
