For the love of god let us add our retail copy of ARMA2 to our Steam accounts so we dont have to use the CD.... You can do this with almost every single other title on Steam, surely it cant be that hard to use the retail CD-Key on our Steam account...

It's not a Valve/Steam game. You have to change the way the game works for it to use Steam copy protection. That won't happen.

I'd wait until BIS fixes the way their patches work on Steam at the moment
I'd much rather have a disc in my drive right now rather than be wasting gigabytes of my download quota...
Where is the problem of using the disc?
Either the people are complainign about the patches, or they are complaining about something else...

Don't see why this needs a separate thread, and it's not 1.03 related.
If someone reports an issue/complains about the Alpha etc, replying in the thread "dude it's an alpha" doesn't really help anyone! Point them to the Arma3 Alpha feedback tracker instead please!
Please do not PM or Email me directly about your CD Key issues, follow the guidance in this thread instead.
