    Ambient Civilian/Animal

    1. Do these modules still suffer from "over spawning" caused by JIP etc and if so, is there a solution? For example, can't you just run a "server only" script or does that not work?

    2. I have tried on several occasions to use triggers to spawn civilians and animals in certain zones only, but it never works. Instead I get a veritable petting zoo on the runway (among other places).

    3. I have searched around and there seem to be no "hard and fast" instructions on using these modules.

    Am I missing something?

    Cheers

Here is a link to the wiki articles on the modules. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=77403
    Not complete yet though.
Yes, we are missing something. Apparently getting all the info on how to adjust the modules is slow and on-going. I can't wait until there's an all-inclusive guide to this stuff.

I opened up the mission Manhattan in the editor. There is a trigger with the name "BIS_arz_1" plus at least 2 more numbered 2 and 3. In the text box it says NO ANIMALS. This was used at 3 spots where I never saw animals in the mission. The problem is I cannot find any reference to them in any of the files or the module itself.
