    nocdkey

    Hi,
    Just adapted the ws2_32.dll of nocdkey to ArmA2. Now it blocks the whole gamespy.com domain. Follow this A1 link for details: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=70538

    is that some sort of crack so arma2 doesn't check the cdkey or wth?

    Absolutely not. It implements kickduplicate=0 for -host mode. Add -nocdkey to the command line for using it.

    If someone reports an issue/complains about the Alpha etc, replying in the thread "dude it's an alpha" doesn't really help anyone! Point them to the Arma3 Alpha feedback tracker instead please!

    When I have put the ws2_32.dll in the ArmA2 directory and have set the starting parameters to -nocdkey & -host I get this message when starting the game:

    "Your CD key is disabled. Please contact customer service /"

    And after than I am pushed out to the main menu... Anyone knows what's wrong? Same happens if I am trying to start a multiplayer game.

    stupid question but why are you doing that?
    Did you not know by altering files you are modifing the game...and the servers think you are cheating?
    If you own the game youre stupid of you downloaded the game you are a retard and this topic should be closed.
    No help to people that are getting things for free while people are working hard to make this game to work and do it FOR FREE
