dave317 0 Posted July 10, 2009 After spending out on a new graphics card (nvidia 260gtx) just to get this game to run at all, i've now got it to run almost perfectly. My problem was my hard drive, i've changed it from an IDE to a SATA2 hdd. After reloading eveything the game now runs extremly smoothly with no stutters or texture load problems and it loads missions within a few seconds rather than minutes. I will go try ARMA2 on my SSD. @Jack5577: If I remember correctly, Eth (another user) tested the game out across SSD and spinning hardrives aswell as Win7,XP and Vista but found that stuttering (along with other problems) was resolved the most when he changed to XP. Personally, I experienced stutter (in built up areas) with Vista64bit but when I changed to Win7 the stutter + mouse lag reduced. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
