    Own up

First id like to know is there a thread or article any were where BI have discussed the problems with the game and what they are doing about it.

The reason i bring this up is mainly because, apart from suffering multiple problems that a hell of a lot of people are upgrading bits changing software and screwing with there settings that have been fine up to now in the belief that its there computer at fault.

Now I'm not putting BI down as i can see a awesome game there its just if they know of performance problems that is a fault on there end etc,id like to read about it rather than listening to hear say etc.

Ive had this before in the past with other games where u screw with your setup for weeks to find it was not at the users end.

If there is such a thread or article that has BI commenting id be grateful if someone would point the way.

    Thanks

There's a community bug tracker.....apart from that though. I'm sure they would know what's wrong with it..

I have asked for an update from BI here
    http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=77652

no real information as yet as to what's going on.

I suspect it's a problem with some dx10 cards when functioning in a 64bit environment but then it would be nice to know what BI think, or even if they think we're getting acceptable performance for our setups and we should just shut up...

    Hopefully not the latter anyway.
I refuse to enter into a battle of wits with you. It's against the rules of engagement to attack someone who is unarmed.

The coders are really hardcore for ARMA/OFP and even mods surrounding it - this is a real monster piece of software and will be worth the wait for ironing out bugs. Go play ARMA 1 for a bit to remind yourself what it's all about while the coders beat the living crap out the many issues

The Community bug tracker is a great example of how they see all the issues and you get to see what's being done - rather than being kept in the dark, we are shown *everything* that is going on.

If you think they are still messing about, goto a local bookstore and look though a few C++ books or something till you understand how hard all the stuff is
