Campaign bug???

I own a dual 2.8Ghz 2Gb Ram geforce 8800 GT 1024, I can play all the boot camp but when i start the singleplayer campaign, my character appear in the aircraft carrier Ken Shan with a dozen more guys, The carrier is stripped of planes or choppers and no one starts to talk, I can only walk around and ask the soldiers about, enemy, location and weather.
I dont know what to do, is this right or is there some kind of bug at work here?
help me out plz

Check your objectives, are you sure you just haven't spoke to the right person about starting the campaign/briefing?

Also I think the ship's name is Khe Sahn as in some place from Vietnam.

Thanks! but did you start the campaign?
I think that its quite odd that the carrier doesn't have any plane or chopper, and yes I've talked to all the characters and they all gave me the same answers.
If you did start the campaign can u tell me if this is right, the emptiness in the carrier and so on...

And by the way the spelling of the aircraft carrier name was my mistake, and yes it is a place in Nam
