Ok, to start off I have read a few guides and I'm doing decent, but one thing I am confused about is objectives.
I have a mission I am creating with marines assaulting a town held by russians, I have one trigger in the town that is triggered by opfor not being present, and it worked. Once I kill the opfor that objective is completed. However, I have a second objective to move to an extraction zone outside of town, I havent tested that one but we will see.
My questions are: How do I let the player know what the objectives are? I set markers but they only appear on map and not on the UI while in game. How do I get the objectives to show up on the ui while in game? Also, how do I setup the order of triggers/waypoints. How do I set it to where the player has to first clear the town and then move to the extractone zone to end the mission?
I looked but I really didnt understand it.

In ArmA2 instead of objectives, they are referred to as tasks. That guide tells you how to create tasks.
