Thread: No sights for static weapons?

    No sights for static weapons?

While playing around with the editor, I had realized that none of the static weapons (i.e. tow, m2, kord, zu23, ags30) seem to have any sights. Nothing is pulled up when I hit the sights key (RMB).

Does anyone else have this problem? Seems like a big oversight, if it's not just me...

BTW, in anticipation of the inevitable questions on this board - my copy of ARMA was obtained legally with and installed with a proper CD key...

    Peace,

    Use the "V" key

Yeah I know its odd, was in ArmA1 as well.

Some vehicle gun sights you need to use 'V" as well.

Yep. Sure enough, you are right. The problem is solved by remapping the aim function to the "V" key.

BTW, another issue that I've found while testing this - the static zu23 does not have a functional sight, or more precisely its sight LOD is obstructed by something else.

No more "V" key...ArmA II has a lot of changes to key assignment.
"V" is for stepping over fences etc.

Surely buttons do what you want them to do...unless you cant map your own controls which I highly doubt is the case

I was always a big fan of default keybord mappings. I love the mighty "reset to default" button and klick it at least once a day.
