Tank sabot and AI bug

Sometimes i have hard time to kill single soldier when shooting with sabot.
He simply doesn't dieand i have to shoot more shots near him.
(he is pretty close to the tank, not from distance)


Alsoanother bug iswith AI. When tanks machinegun is empty, AI won't use canon to kill soldiers even if it canbe used.

In both cases i didn't try HEAT missiles,but from that close distance in first bug soldiers should die even if its sabot.

I'm not an expert but sabot is anti armor projectal without any fragmentation and You'll have to score direct hit if You want to harm any soldier with it.

If you hit up to 1-5 meters from soldier with sabot then it won't kill him?

Probably not, Sabot is not explosive. It is made to penetrate armour, for use against other tanks.

The HEAT rounds on the other hand are explosive.
